No, it's a health screen checking for blood, protein and sugar.
Do I get a copy of my DOT physical form?
Yes.
Will I get a 1 year or a 2 year card?
This depends on your current health and medical history. Maximum certification time is 2 years. Medical conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease are limited to 1 year.
If I don’t have medical insurance can I still get a DOT physical?
Yes. You do not need medical insurance to get a DOT Physical. DOT Physicals are considered occupational.
How many 3-month DOT medical cards can you have?
One. You should have the condition, which caused the restriction, under control with in those 3 months.
How long does a DOT Physical take?
25 to 30 minutes once you are in the exam room with the doctor.
